The KYRIE 5 is a bold breakthrough in technology, and it\’s a testament to the amazing performance improvements that can be achieved with every breakthrough in the KYRIE signature shoe line from one generation to five.
The KYRIE 5\’s new vamp wrap system, inspired by the Venus flytrap, allows the Air Zoom Turbo range to keep the feet on the ground and locked. Flywire technology allows for a tight fit between the feet and the Air Zoom Turbo, extending the rebound from the starting point of the forefoot. KYRIE 5\’s new sole design was inspired by a tattoo of Fatima\’s hand on Irving\’s left arm, a symbol of protection from bad luck. He wanted the cheap kyrie shoes to show more of the details of his life than just a pair of basketball shoes, which allowed us to incorporate his ideas into the design.
